Global Peace Women and the Bicameral Chamber of the Congress of the Republic of Paraguay hosted the Forum, “Social Transformation From the Family,” on Tuesday, May 17th with over 200 senior officials and advisors from 33 governmental institutions working towards transforming the family role in society.

Under the theme, “Familes: a Healthy Life and a Sustainble Future,” distinguished speakers and guests spoke on three topics: 1) Contextualization of current family challenges; 2) Family from a psychosocial approach & 3) Family as the cornerstone of a peaceful and prosperous society.
