Filipino Singers Join International Artists in ‘Korean Dream’ Reunification Song

K-pop artists with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis perform the new reunification song in Manila, the Philippines

Filipino artists are joining an international ensemble to participate in the campaign for Korean reunification through music. Making its debute at the One K 2017 Global Peace Concert in Manila last March, K-pop stars, including SHINee and Psy, performed the new “Korean Dream” reunification song produced by American Grammy-winning songwriters Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

The One K Global Campaign was launched in 2015 as a part of a popular movement for Korean reunification and to contribute to a larger effort to advance regional peace and global security.

The song was officially released on August 15, the anniversary of Korea’s Liberation Day. “Korean Dream” has been recorded by Peabo Bryson, South Korea’s Jung Dong-ha and Voisper, Lauren Evans, Korean-Australian singer Dami Im, along with Filipino artists Sabrina Orial and Zendee Rose Tenerefe.
