Mongolia is a uniquely positioned country in Northeast Asia that enjoys pristine natural landscapes where you can pass by yak herds while on horseback or enjoy a day of hiking. It is a future facing and relatively young country with the unusual opportunity for diplomatic ties with isolated countries. It is historically significant and offers many opportunities to those who visit. The 26 June forum will focus on strengthening the contribution of youth engagement and volunteerism to enhance development and peace and scale up successful programs and models involving youth and multilateral partners. Particular attention will be given improving coordination among sectors, building consensus and partnerships, and mobilizing resources.
