Dr. Soonok Kang is Secretary General of Global Peace Women and Vice President of Global Peace Foundation. Additionally, she serves as a board member of a leading service organization in Korea, Service For Peace. She has also taught at Dongguk University, Korea. Dr. Kang believes service and education to be the two most valuable vehicles for development of the individual and society, which leads to her passion for supporting GPW chapters and developing women leadership programs. Dr. Kang earned her degree in Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Art in International Education from Steinhardt School of Education, New York University.
