Kathy Velayo Yulo is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She holds a teaching credential in the State of California for secondary school. She finished a Masters in Management from the Asian Institute of Management in 1978. Prior to being a business owner/manager she worked at SGV and Company, Philippine Plaza and Manila Hilton in the Philippines in management consulting, sales and convention management. She has also worked in California, USA. She has managed businesses in the field of exhibit and convention organizing as well as contracting. She was Center Manager, Philippines for the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools(CGFNS) which is based in Philadelphia, USA for 15 years. She is a past president of the Association of International College Women and the American Women’s Club of the Philippines. She was on the board of the Muntinlupa Development Foundation – a community development foundation formed in 1976.
