Local volunteers and faith leaders helped deliver 15,000 pounds of perishable food intended for restaurants that are now closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Not allowing the food to go to waste, the volunteers were happy to help distribute everything from “cabbage to caviar” to people in need from Washington D.C. to Baltimore.

“During these perilous times that we find ourselves in, we really need to be a helping hand to our brothers and sisters, indeed our neighbors,” said Rev. Dr. Kendrick Curry.
