Global Peace Women Nigeria Inaugural Meeting Featured in Local News

Her Excellency Hajiya Amina Sambo, wife of the former Nigerian Vice President, called on women to add their voice to peacebuilding efforts in Nigeria at the inaugural meeting of Global Peace Women (GPW) Nigeria. The meeting, held in Kaduna on March 21, brought together over twenty leaders.

An article in Conscience Triumph highlighted key contributors to the inaugural meeting, including Ms. Sambo and GPF Nigeria Country Director Mr. John Oko, who pointed out the unique nature and attributes of women which have a crucial leadership role in building peace in the family as the basis for healthy societies, nations, and a prosperous and ethical world.

Global Peace Women is the women’s division of the Global Peace Foundation.
