Kenyan Students Transform Education with Character and Creativity

Global Peace Foundation (GPF) Kenya has been working with educators, students and stakeholders to transform education and make it relevant to the challenges of the 21st Century. GPF introduced the Character and Creativity Initiative, which helps to nurture character, creativity and interpersonal skills in students while placing emphasis on a school culture that supports students to grow up as entrepreneurs so that they can become job creators rather than job seekers, leading in moral and innovative ways. Buru Buru is one of the schools where GPF introduced an environmental program incorporating planting trees of virtues as a way of nurturing character and creativity.
