Co-operation Ireland’s program delivery facilitators Barry Fennell and Dr Alan Largey will be presenting and also leading an open space session at the prestigious Global Peace Convention taking place in the Philippines this month. They will be both involved in the Interfaith Peacebuilding and Transforming Education strands in Manila.

Co-operation Ireland is an all-island peace-building charity. Since it was established in 1979 as Co-operation North, it has worked to encourage and promote interaction, dialogue and practical collaboration within Northern Ireland and between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Both Barry and Alan are very excited about the prospect of being able to share their learning and experience of peacebuilding and practical co-operation to a diverse audience and peace assembly in Manila.

The Global Peace Convention will convene a diverse community of peacebuilding practitioners, youth leaders, and experts in business, international development, and education for a unique opportunity to explore critical global issues, share best practices, and develop innovative and action-driven solutions to building peace and social cohesion while strengthening robust multi-stakeholder partnerships.
