Global Peace Foundation (GPF) USA reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between all sectors of society in the process of building peace at the annual Global Peace Forum hosted in Billings, Montana on October 13, 2018 conducted under the theme, “Community Peacebuilding: Where Peace Begins in the Neighborhood.”

Government, nonprofit, education, and faith leaders spoke on strategies for community peacebuilding and participated in breakout sessions exploring best practices for collaboration in the region. The day included an interactive workshop presented by Ms. Gail Hambleton, Senior Program Specialist for Interreligious and Community Peacebuilding for GPF, and an opportunity for local leaders to raise important questions addressing the challenges of the region through Q&A panels with other community leaders.
