Southern Kaduna Peace and Reconciliation Committee Dialogue Forum with Security Agencies

Southern Kaduna, NIGERIA— The newly established Southern Kaduna Peace and Reconciliation Committee comprised of 200 key leaders of the Kaninkon community were joined by representatives of the police, army, civil defense and the Department of State Security in a meeting to build the capacity of local security agencies in responding to violence between native and Fulani tribes in Nigeria on May 10, 2018.

Brought together through the interfaith campaign, entitled the One Family Under God Campaign, the committee was established in September 2017 and hosts monthly meetings fostering interfaith dialogue and organizing capacity-building workshops, community peace festivals and summits.
