Global Peace Foundation (GPF) Tanzania worked together with local volunteers and stakeholders, including the Environmental Conservation Community of Tanzania, to clean up the beaches of Mbezi Beach. The event gathered youth from across Dar es salaam to volunteer and clean the beach area. As part of the Vijana Na Amani (Youth for Peace) campaign, which seeks to raise young people up as leaders and changemakers in Tanzania, local volunteers for this beach clean up promoted protecting the environment and supporting the families in the community.
