For the 6th year, Global Peace Foundation and Global Peace Women Paraguay are recognizing exceptional women in Paraguay who exemplify the value of altruism. The annual “Living for the Sake of Others Awards” higlights the contribution of women from various sectors who have made significant impact in their families, communities and nation.The unique award, specifically  acknowledges the essential role of women in development and peace.

This year’s awards has special focus on women in communication and the Chaco Region of Alto Paraguay. The awards banquet will follow a special women’s conference at the Excelcior Hotel in Ascunion, on June 18th.
