Russia and the Korean Peninsula: Policy and Investment Implications

The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) and Global Peace Foundation (GPF) have hosted a series of forums addressing issues surrounding the situation of the Korean peninsula. On May 14, leading experts and academics addressed “Russia and the Korea Peninsula: Policy and Investment Implications.” The forum examined important policy and investment implications for Russia and the Korean peninsula with a particular focus on regional integration, energy and infrastructure investment, and diplomacy. Featured Remarks were made by  made by Dr. Alexander Zhebin, Director for the Center for Korean Studies and Institute of Far Eastern Studies at the Russian Academy of Science who was joined by Dr. Andrew Kuchins, Director and Senior Fellow of the Russia and Eurasia Program; es; and Dr. Gilbert Rozman, a Musgrave Professor of Sociology at Princeton University in a panel that followed. The forum was faciliated by CSIS Korea Chair Dr. Victor Cha.
