The Global Peace Foundation hosted the Korea Unification Forum, examining the role of civil society and global cooperation in furthering a unified Korea.

The think-tank style discussions emphasized the importance of grassroots involvement in upholding principles and values in guiding the creation of a unified nation.

Co-Convenors included the Global Peace Foundation, Hansun Foundation, National Strategy Institute, with sponsors including the ROK Ministry of Unification, Presidential Committee for Unification Preparation, and the National Unification Advisory Council.
