Global Peace Foundation Malaysia has been working to address the challenges of underserved communities, provide for basic needs, and improve livelihood opportunities.

Malaysia’s Orang Asli, or “original people,” live in remote regions of the Malay peninsula, with little access to basic necessities such as clean water, electricity, and education.

Many Orang Asli children struggle with low literacy skills and will likely face even greater social and economic disadvantages in a fast-changing world. Since June  2020, the Mobile School has been carrying out community learning sessions with the Orang Asli children in partnership with ECM Libra Foundation. Read the report from GPF Malaysia.
