Dr. Paul Murray Speaks at the International Religious Freedom Summit 2021

The premier annual religious freedom summit in the United States, the IRF Summit 2021 took place in July in the form of an in-person event in Washington, D.C., and brought together a broad coalition of organizations that passionately support religious freedom around the world, providing a critical venue for the exchange of ideas and testimony between members of religious groups, civil society, and governments who are passionate advocates for this most fundamental human right.

The IRF Summit’s plenary sessions and individual events highlighted a wide range of important contemporary issues in the international religious freedom space and provided a platform for victims of religious persecution and restrictions on religious freedom to offer their personal testimony.

Rev Paul Murray

In this year’s IRF Summit, Dr. Paul Murray, Vice President of the Global Peace Foundation, was one of several speakers in a Special International Religious Freedom Roundtable that focused on the future of the global religious freedom movement—a future of increasing global communication and cooperation through engagement that builds religious freedom through relationships of mutual respect and protection, and across global networks of civil society roundtables and partners, governments, and parliamentarians.
