Dr. Preciosa S. Soliven is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Operation Brotherhood Montessori Center, Inc. She was appointed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in 2001 as the Secretary-General of the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines with the official title of Ambassador. Formerly the Philippine representative to the UNESCO Paris Executive Board in 1986-1987, she became an active member of the Education Committee of UNESCO Philippines from 1990 to 2001. She founded the Operation Brotherhood Montessori Center, Inc. (OBMCI) in 1966, the largest Montessori school in the world.
