Global Peace Foundation Nigeria recently expanded its One Family under God Campaign to the Badarawa-Malalai region of Kaduna State in efforts to resolve recent religious conflict in the region.

Two representatives of Global Peace Foundation Nigeria, Rev. John Joseph Hayab and Shiek Halliru Maraya, made a courtesy visit to the District Head of Badarawa – Malali, Alhaji Shehu Ja’e, to garner the governments support on May 12, 2016. Both Hayab and Maraya expressed the need for the communities to look beyond religious divides. “We are brothers and descendants of Adam and Eve which the Holy Books that we all believe and practice its teachings recognizes as the first creation of God,” said Shiek Maraya.

Alhaji Shehu Ja’e expressed gratitude for choosing his community for the One Family Under God Campaign and that “we as a district are in full support of the program which we believe will further cement the relationship between Muslims and Christians.”
