On October 12, 2016, a Train the Trainers Workshop was held in Kaduna State, Nigeria organized by Global Peace Foundation Nigeria. Muslim and Christian leaders convened together in this workshop focusing on bringing peace between them.

Workshop director Shaikh Halliru Maraya stated, “I think as humans we must know that God didn’t create us to be fighting each other. Therefore, Global Peace Foundation is an essential tool for good governance and we are ever ready to partner you on your activities.”

The Train the Trainer workshop was part the larger One Family Under God campaign, a locally driven peace-building effort in Kaduna state supported by Global Peace Foundatio Nigeria.
