ABOUT
The Cidral in the Dominican Republic, is a small rural town like many towns across Latin America and the Caribbean. The unpredictable supply of electricity in the community is just one of many developmental problems that members of the same face. GPD working with World Vision and Partners of the Americas have developed a pilot project on the introduction of solar lamps to the community are the central feature of an integrated community development program, which addresses the finance of the family, health, safety and education.
