Greenhouses for Schools Initiative

The goal of the project is to provide an alternative source of income for public schools in low income areas.  This initiative was implemented in 2 phases: Phase 1 began in March 2014 and was completed in December of the same year. Some of the achievements realized during this phase included: construction of green houses, disbursement of hand solar lights, installation of street solar lights, training on poultry management, disbursement of chicks and mentorship in art and sports. In January 2015, the second phase was rolled out through awarding the 2 schools a small grant to expand the initiative.
