Transformational leaders influence others through modeling ethical behavior— acting consistently with values and principles, standing up for what is right and keeping promises. In this session teachers and students explored the role of leaders as:
- Role models who are energized and committed, and personify integrity, respect, conscientiousness and courage
- Team builders who succeed by collaborating with other individuals and teams, inspiring cooperation, confidence and optimism; and
- Problem solvers who make competent decisions and demonstrate innovative thinking.
