Alan Inman - President of GPF USA
Alan Inman served as National Director for the Institute for Responsible Fatherhood where he led the development of an additional eight locations throughout the United States, overseeing a $2.5 million dollar annual budget. Formerly, he served as Executive Director of Minority Alliance International, a New York based civil rights organization; as a consultant to the City of New York; and as chairman of a New York City Community Planning Board. Inman was also a candidate for the New York State Assembly.
Currently, he serves as the president of the Global Peace Foundation – USA headquartered in the Washington, DC area. His career is storied for the development of coalitions that include government, community based organizations, public officials, media, clergy groups and universities throughout the United States with highly successful partnerships that focus on “Strengthening Families & Communities.” He is married and the father of 2. In addition to hosting his own NY talk radio show for a span of 10 years, Inman is the author of his popular book – “The Colors of Love.”
Rev. Dr. Paul Murray- Vice President of GPF USA
Rev. Dr. Paul Murray is the Executive Director of the Global Peace Festival-USA and the Partnership Director of Global Peace Service Alliance. Rev. Murray has served in ministry for more than 17 years and is currently the Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Maryland. Co-founder and CEO of Vision Ministries International, he has traveled throughout the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, and Central America supporting churches, humanitarian organizations and communities in emergency aid-relief, health care issues, leadership training, and as a visiting instructor. He is a columnist and published writer for the Apostolic Witness.
David Caprara- Director of National Partnerships
Mr. David Caprara is Vice-President for Strategic Partnerships with the Global Peace Foundation in Washington, D.C. He is also a Nonresident Fellow on International Volunteering and Service at the Brookings Institution and board member of the Africa Conference on Volunteer Action for Peace and Development. He previously served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and as director of Faith-Based Initiatives at the Corporation for National and Community Service.
Gail Hambleton- National Director of the Interfaith Alliance to Abolish Human Trafficking, Safe Haven Campaign (Project of GPF-USA)
Gail Hambleton has worked for decades in various International NGOs, many of which were involved in interfaith peace efforts. She lived and worked in Africa for 8 years serving in the mission and humanitarian aid fields. Her passion for peace is rooted in her difficult experiences during the war in Zimbabwe, the military coup in Kenya, and the aftermath of genocide in Rwanda. Gail was instrumental in the establishment of the humanitarian aid organization “Women for Women” in Rwanda, in 1997.
Currently she is Vice President of Interfaith Partnerships for the Global Peace Foundation. (GPF) In 2010, she was instrumental in helping to establish content and programming for the International GPF Interfaith Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia. She facilitated the creation and signing of the Interfaith Declaration as an outcome of that gathering. Gail is the National Director of the Interfaith Alliance to Abolish Human Trafficking, Safe Haven Campaign, which is a project of GPF-USA.
Gail is also the mother of three beautiful children.
Diann Dawson- National Director of Family Initiatives
Diann Dawson is President and CEO of DDA & Associates, a MD based human services consulting enterprise. She continues her service in the private sector as a national advocate for children and family strengthening initiatives.
Ms. Dawson enjoyed a distinguished public service career with more than 38 years in federal and state governments. Prior to her recent retirement, Dawson served as the Director of the Office of Regional Operations within the Administration for Children and Families, U. S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Kimihira Miyake- President of Global Peace Youth USA
Kimihira Miyake is the director of the youth division of the Global Peace Foundation in the United States. He has experience organizing numerous leadership opportunities for youth across the country including a character development project for inner city public schools, an overseas exchange program, nationwide service campaigns, youth summits and workshops, and outdoor adventure training programs. From 2010 to 2013, Mr. Miyake has played an essential role in the development of the Leadership Academy with Atlanta Public Schools, where in 2013, the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation identified the project as an model urban innovation program. The Leadership Academy was also recognized as a Promising Practice by Character Education Partnership. During his three years in Atlanta, Mr. Miyake was commended by the Georgia State Senate as well as the Administration for Children and Families in Region IV.
