Affirming that “peace begins in the home,” the Global Peace Foundation seeks to engage women and other stakeholders to create a supportive cultural environment to strengthen and empower women’s leadership as a fundamental resource in advancing peace and human development.

“We trained students to upcycle waste papers and trained them to turn it into beautiful reusable crafts, while we trained women to upcycle waste newspapers and waste milk plastics, turning them into beautiful baskets and key rings respectively.”
