GLOBAL PEACE CONVENTION 2010  One Family under God: Conflict Resolution, Peace and Development Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki, Prime Minister Raila Odinga host leaders from 40 nations in Nairobi   Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki  addresses internationalleaders at the opening of the Convention in Nairobi.  Commending the Global Peace Foundation’s advocacy of broad partnerships in peace building, and challenging international delegates “to develop strategies in areas of conflict resolution, peace building, sustainable development, character education and youth empowerment,” Kenya’s President Mwai Kibaki officially opened the Global Peace Convention 2010 at the Kenyatta International Conference Center in Nairobi on November 18. President Kibaki used the occasion to call for stepped up support for peacebuilding efforts in Somalia and Sudan, and was joined by Ethiopian President H.E.
